The Oriental Library Association has been formed with readers, writers, publishers, intellectuals and literary enthusiasts for paying homage to books and knowledge.

Oriental Library Association registered under West Bengal Societies Registration Act,1961 (Regn. No: S0055025 of 2024-2025) & Indian Trust Act,1882 (Regn. No.: IV – 190200099). The Oriental Library Association is an ISO 9001:2015 Certified Organization (Certificate No.: VOLQ205471842). The Association enrolled with NGO Darpan Portal (ID: WB/2024/0397299) and e-Anudaan Portal (ID: WB/00035457). Oriental Library Association registered as an autonomous body under National Career Service Portal and Skill India Portal (Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India). Oriental Library Association registered as an entrepreneur under UDYAM Registration of Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Govt. of India (Regn. No.; UDYAM-WB-14-0119874). Association also support Digital India Initiative, Govt. of India and Cyber Security Initiative, Department of Information Technology & Electronics, Govt. of West Bengal.

Aims:

Oriental Library Association is an Independent, National, Non-Commercial, Non-Profit Organization. Our aims are to –

  • Publishing the writings of emerging writers.
  • Publishing research-based writings on various subjects.
  • Promote high standards of provision and delivery of library and information services.
  • Encourage widespread understanding of the value of good library and information services.

Vision: The Oriental Library Association is the national organization for innovative information professionals and their strategic partners.

Mission: The Oriental Library Association promotes and strengthens its members the through learning, advocacy and networking initiatives.

Core Values: Leadership strengthening our roles as information leaders in our organizations and in our communities, including shaping information policy.
